Thank you for your interest in Camp Tamarack!

Camp Tamarack is please to be able to offer financial assistance for campers whose families are unable to afford to send their children to camp at Camp Tamarack.   We created this program to be able to support the needs of our community, allowing children the opportunity to experience sleep away camp.

Camp Tamarack’s volunteer board works hard to maintain relationships within the community to be able to raise funds to support our Campership Program.  The funds for this program are received primarily as donations and grants for the specific purpose of sending a child to camp.

To ensure we can continue to offer this program we ask for your assistance as well.  Due to this we also ask that each family receiving funding write a letter of support that we can use when applying for additional funding in the future.  Those who fail to provide a letter of support put their future funding opportunities at risk.  We request that all families applying for campership funding be prepared to make some amount of financial contribution towards the camp fee.
To apply for Campership funding, please complete the below steps:

  1. Complete the online Registration and applicable forms.
  2. Complete and submit the Application.
  3. Submit a letter of support on letterhead, as a pdf with your application, from a Community Leader (ie. Teacher, Principal, Social Worker)
  4. Submit/Make payment of any funds you are able to provide.

All completed applications are reviewed and funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.  Funds awarded may range from 20% to 100%.  Successful applicants will be notified via email and/or phone to finalize payment details.
