Packing List

What should I bring with me to camp?

A list of suggested items to pack for camp is below. Please Label EVERYTHING!  Clothes, boots, hats, toothbrush… EVERYTHING your child brings to camp.

Use masking or duct tape to label items that you don’t want to write on. Even older campers misplace things!

No outside food items are allowed at camp. We provide healthy, hearty meals and snacks that have been carefully planned to accommodate any of the allergies or dietary concerns of the campers in our care.

To make special dietary arrangements please contact the Camp Director. Help us keep mice and bugs out of the cabins by not sending food with your children.

Please do not send your camper with a cell phone or gaming/video device.  They will be asked to turn them into our staff and will be kept in the office, should they arrive to camp with them.  Please refer to the Guardian Package for further details.

Medication

If medication is required, please send it bubble packed with the campers’ name and the dosage clearly labeled.  Ask your pharmacist to bubble pack it for you.

Money

All money should be provided in a labeled plastic sandwich bag with the camper’s name and the total amount.  It will be stored in a secure location for the duration of camp. When it’s time for their visit to the Tuck Shop, they will be informed how much money they have to spend. Any money remaining will be returned at pick up.

Please be aware that Camp Tamarack is not responsible for items that are damaged, lost or stolen.
