Try it Day Camp
Ages: 6–12 (Kindergarten–Grade 6)
Try It Day Camp is the perfect introduction to Camp Tamarack. Campers enjoy a full day of classic camp activities with built-in choice, including options like archery, climbing, and outdoor adventure.
On Thursday, camp runs until 8:30 pm, with an optional overnight experience (limited spaces). On Friday morning, all campers enjoy a pancake breakfast at 8:30 am to wrap up the week.
Snacks and lunch are provided daily.
Early drop-off (7:30–8:30 am) is available for an additional $50 and includes breakfast.

What Is Adventure 8:8?
Adventure 8:8 gives campers the full daytime experience of overnight camp while allowing them to sleep in their own bed at night.
On the first day of camp, families will drop campers off on Sunday afternoon and pick them up after campfire between 8:30 and 9:00 pm.
Campers return the next morning by 8:00 am, in time for breakfast and the first activity of the day.
This routine continues throughout the week.
Friday pick up is between 11:45 am and 12:15 pm
Adventure 8:8 is ideal for campers who want the excitement of full-day camp programming with the comfort of going home each night.

Climbing Adventure is the only option with a minimum age requirement and is delivered by trained staff with a strong focus on safety and encouragement.

How Choice Works
When you register your camper, choose their preferred choice during registration.
If a camper discovers their choice is not the right fit, our team will support a move to a different option where space allows. Our priority is ensuring every camper feels comfortable, confident, and engaged in their experience.
