I CAN BE

Age: 8-14 | Dates: April 24-26th and Sept 11-13th | Rate: $275

This program is intentionally offered in separate boys’ and girls’ groups to create a space rooted in belonging, empowerment, and personal growth.

At Camp Tamarack, we believe that when young people feel safe, understood, and supported, they are more willing to be honest, ask meaningful questions, and grow in confidence. Offering gender-specific spaces allows campers to explore topics like identity, body confidence, friendships, and self-worth in a setting designed to help them feel especially comfortable and heard.

During the retreat, campers will build confidence and self-awareness as we explore body confidence, healthy friendships, and positive self-image, all woven into an adventure-filled camp experience. Participants will challenge themselves on the climbing tower, experience the giant swing, and learn foundational wilderness skills, using each activity as an opportunity to practice courage, resilience, and teamwork.

Through creative and engaging programming, our goal is for every camper to feel welcomed, valued, and empowered. Our trained staff work in small groups to cultivate strong connections and ensure each camper has the opportunity to find their voice, strengthen their sense of identity, and grow within a supportive community.

The retreat begins at 7:00 PM on Friday evening and concludes at 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, offering a meaningful weekend of growth, connection, and adventure.

Note: Campers must be in Grade 3 currently for the April Program, and entering Grade 3 for the fall program.
