Adventure Camp

Choice, Confidence, and Connection

At Camp Tamarack, Adventure Camp gives campers the opportunity to explore their interests while being supported in a welcoming and inclusive camp community.

Campers choose an afternoon adventure option that reflects their interests, strengths, and comfort level. Each day includes a balance of outdoor adventure, creative expression, movement, and time in nature. Campers may experience activities such as the Giant Swing, Climbing Wall, swimming, games, and forest exploration. All activities are adapted to support diverse abilities, learning styles, and comfort levels.

Adventure Camp is designed so every child can participate, belong, and build confidence in their own way.

How Choice Works

When you register your camper, choose their preferred choice during registration.

If a camper discovers their choice is not the right fit, our team will support a move to a different option where space allows. Our priority is ensuring every camper feels comfortable, confident, and engaged in their experience.

Accessibility and Inclusion

All Adventure Camp programs follow Camp Tamarack’s I. C.A.N. B.E. approach.

  • Inclusion
Activities are adapted so every camper can participate meaningfully.

Campers build friendships and learn to support one another.

What Is Adventure 8:8?

Adventure 8:8 gives campers the full daytime experience of overnight camp while allowing them to sleep in their own bed at night.

On the first day of camp, families will drop campers off on Sunday afternoon and pick them up after campfire between 8:30 and 9:00 pm.

Campers return the next morning by 8:00 am, in time for breakfast and the first activity of the day.

This routine continues throughout the week.

Friday pick up is between 11:45 am and 12:15 pm

Adventure 8:8 is ideal for campers who want the excitement of full-day camp programming with the comfort of going home each night.
