What will camp life look like?

Teen Leadership training will take place during Summer Orientation with all of our staff June 24-28. (They will live at Camp this week)

July 3:  First day of camp prep.

This day is super important, we run through everything from drop off to pick-up and everything in between to make sure the first day of camp is a positive experience for everyone

Leadership Development

  • Teen leaders will explore and develop essential leadership skills, including:
  • Effective communication and active listening
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Conflict resolution strategies
  • What it truly means to be a leader
  • Goal-setting and personal responsibility
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • How to work with kids

Leadership in Action

With new skills and confidence, teen leaders will apply what they’ve learned by assisting younger campers during our Try-It Day Camp and Primary Camp.

They will:

  • Take on leadership roles in small groups
  • Guide younger campers through activities and challenges
  • Learn responsibility in a real-world camp setting

This hands-on experience is a powerful resume-builder for future jobs, volunteer work, and leadership opportunities in school.

Teen Leaders who are 15 and 16 may be invited to volunteer a 3rd week

Parents: This is a great way for teens to gain volunteer hours, work experience credits and real-world leadership experience!
