Camp Tamarack is an inclusive, barrier-free outdoor camp located just south of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
We offer day and overnight programs for individuals of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds. Working here is more than a summer job — it’s a shared experience built on care, connection, responsibility, and growth.

Know Hiring For 2026 Season
Roles at Camp Tamarack
We hire for a variety of live on site seasonal roles, including:
- Camp Coordinators 21+ – positions filled

Program Leaders 18+ — Support and lead specialized activity areas, support campers
Contract Dates: May 11th – August 23rd OR May 11th – October 31st + part-time in Winter.

Camp Leader-2026 Age 17+— Supervise groups and support campers, lead creative arts programming
Contract Dates: June 22nd – August 23rd

Cabin Leaders 17+— Live with campers and provide overnight care, support program and camp leaders
Contract Dates: June 22nd – August 23rd or June 24 – August 23rd

Junior Leaders age 15-16 & Teen Leaders age 14 — Youth volunteers learning leadership skills (application opening Feb 21)
And Live off site roles:
- Head Cook / Kitchen Manager
Full time April – August, Part time Sept – March - Food Service Team Members
