Hi Im Tigger! This is my Fourth year working at Camp Tamarack!

I am married with, 2 sons who are ages 9 and 11, and I have a 5 year old labradoodle named Maggie.

When I am not working, I enjoy travelling with my friends and family, camping in the summer with a good book, and attending every hockey event possible with my kids.

My favourite thing at camp is hearing the laughter come from each camper as they get settled in, trying new activities and making new friends. Makes the work that goes on behind the scenes worth every minute.

Dawn - Teen Leadership Coordinator

Hi I’m Dawn and this is my fourth summer at Camp Tamarack!

My favourite colour is Yellow.

I live in Grande Priaire, but I will be moving to attend the University of Alberta for a degree in political science at the end of summer.

I love painting and anything else to do with art, I also love to be with friends, and to play sports!

I am most looking forward to seeing all the returing and new campers and getting to meet new friends.

Aurora - Program Coordinator

Hello everyone! This is my 10th year at camp and my 4th year as staff!

I am from Grande Prairie and my favourite colour is burgundy.

My favourite activity in life is camp and at camp is anything with ropes. I love being around people, fastball, and reading.

I’m entering my fourth year of a combined Education and Science degree in the fall. At camp, I specialize in program differentiation designing and adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of campers of all ages and abilities. Whether developing brand-new programs like Out-Trips or tailoring existing ones, I’m dedicated to creating a fun, supportive environment where every camper can thrive.

Im looking forward to spending another summer outside, with campers and staff. Aswell as and getting the opportunity to pass along my knowledge of sports, science, education, and of course, camp to everybody I meet this summer!

Jube Jube - Program/Cabin leader

Hey Im Jube Jube this is my second season at Camp!

My favorite colour is purple and I am from Grande Prairie.

I love to create songs and play guitar. I also have two dogs I love to spend time with named Cola and Coco.

My favourite thing to do at camp is play giant games with all of the kids, like Herbivores and Carnivores!

Ringo - Program leader

Hey, My name is Ringo and this is my first year at Camp Tamarack!

I live in Calgary and my favourite colour is Indigo.

I have a golden retriever named Maverick (who you can see in the picture with me). I like mountain biking, rock climbing and playing my guitar or drums.

I’m a university graduate with a BA in Criminal Justice, which made me realize I don’t really like that world and would rather help people participate in things that I’m passionate about to try and share that passion!

Im most looking forward to improving my mountian biking this summer!

Raven - Program leader

Hi! Im Raven and this is my first Camp season!

I am from Venezuela and my favourite colour is blue.

I love reading and movies/series, I particularly love fantasy stories and great adventures.

I’m a great aerial dancer, which means that my fabric is like my best friend, I’ve been learning and teaching about this for a long time now to all kinds of people and I love it

At Camp Tamarack I hope to have great adventures accompanied by incredible people!

I am coming to Camp from Australia and my favourite colour is blue.

I have a pet dog called Millie and she is 3 years old, I love camping and crafts.

When im not working at camp I am a nurse in aged care.

Hi! Im Ursa and it is my very first summer at Camp!

I am coming to camp from Medicine Hat and my favourite colour is pink.

I love crafting and dancing whenever there’s music playing!

I’m studying Fashion Business and love new adventures. I hope to use my theatre and outdoors experience this summer.

My favorite thing to do at camp is campfires. (And eating all the hot dogs.) I’m looking forward to meeting everybody and making this a great summer!

I have two cats named Buddy and Pepper. I like reading, nature, and hiking.

I have experience directing short plays and films. I am just finishing my first year at University of Victoria where I am studying Recreation and Health Education.

This summer I have finished the last year of my Computer Science degree, and before this year I have spent my last three summers working at a Scout camp in the UK.

I have a gray cat, Fire. My favourite activities are arts & crafts, reading, and hiking.

I’m on a gap year volunteering with a secondary school with children with learning difficulties. In September I start my masters degree in physical geography.

I love spending time with my cat Mer.

I am currently studying education, history, French, and anthropology! I’ve been working with kids for the last few years!

This summer at camp im most looking forward to getting to know everyone, and getting a tan!

Cell tower - Camp leader

Hi everyone!!! My name is Cell tower and it it my first summer at Tamarack!

I am from Medicine Hat and my favourite colour is purple.

I love music, I listen to a lot of kpop, I have 3 pets 2 dogs Xander and Samson, and a cat named Jaspur, I love playing videogames with my favorite franchise being the legend of Zelda. I love learning new things and try to learn something new everyday.

I am at University for Biochemistry. I love making choreographies to songs and dancing to them!

I cant wait to meet new people and learn new things!

Bó - Cabin leader

Hello all! My name is Bó and this is my first camp season!

I am coming to Canada from Ireland, and my favourite colour is purple.

I love spending time looking after my cats and hen, and staying active by running or exercising with friends!

This summer I’ll have completed my Film & TV Production degree and have worked with kids on a number of productions in the past.

Im excited to get to know everyone and experience a completely new setting from what I’m used to!

Circe - Camp leader

Hiya! Im Circe, I am coming all the way from the Neatherlands for my fist summer at Camp!

My favoruite colour is Pink.

I love cuddling our family guinea pig, his name is Brownie and he is very cute. In my free time I also love to be creative! I love drawing, painting, making tiny clay sculptures, creating cool collages from old magazine clippings, you name it! I also love to be out in nature and take nice walks to admire the trees, flowers, animals and clouds!

I am currently studying meteorology and I have a background in landscape architecture. This means that I am able to “read” the sky and identify a lot of different cool clouds. From my other study I learned how to identify trees, and I have an extensive drawing training that I can share from there as well. Other skills I share include my creative activities that I described earlier, and I also have a background in storytelling which is a very nice form of theatre. I have several years of experience working with young teens as a high school tutor.

I am most excited to meeting everyone and making lots of great memories together filled with laughter!

Gazoo - Food Coordinator

Hello! My name is Gazoo, this is my first year working at Camp!

I have 3 kids. I have 2 dogs Bodhi and Tika, 1 cat named Journey. My favourite things to do is hang out with my friends and play games, camping and being out in the woods.

I am a Girl Guide Leader and was apart of the Guiding Program as a child. I enjoy cooking at camps and helping kids try different foods they may not try at home. I am also a Licensed Insurance Agent and enjoy teaching people about money and finance.

My most favourite thing to do at camp is sit around the fire tell stores and sing songs. I really like to cook over a campfire and like learning new tricks and recipes for cooking over a fire.
