NEW TEEN PROGRAMS – AGES 12 TO 16

We have taken our Teen Camp and blown it out with more action and options than ever before! For 2024, we want to give your teens more choice when it comes to their summer camp experience.

Teens will have a chance to choose from 1 of 4 streams:

Chill: for the laidback teen who want more unstructured (supervised) time during their week at camp. Teens will have a choice to spend this time reading, hanging out and chatting with their new friends, playing camp favourites like gaga ball and Nine Square, and many more options.

Art and Photography: For the creative teen who wants to enjoy their time in nature by getting creative. They will develop new photography skills and get to enter the Roberta Bondar Summer Camp Competition, and spend time drawing, painting, or creating art with nature with our fantastic creative art leaders.

Mountain Biking: For the adventurous teen who wants to take their mountain biking skills to the next level. Each morning campers will head to Nitehawk developing their Mountain Biking Skills. On the Thursday they will have a full day to put all those new skills to use and enjoy the downhill trails at Nitehawk with their certified instructors.

Kayak Expedition: For your water loving teen. Each morning campers will head to the water basin at Nitehawk. Their coaches, supplied by Wapiti White Water Kayaking, will ensure they have fun while teaching the skills they will need for their overnight river trip. (limited to 10 campers)

All streams will have the traditional camp experience and camp activities, such as the adventure course, archery, and All Camp Experience for them to enjoy as well.
